Further to the announcement by the Government on Monday 16th March 2020, the Scout Association has issued the following announcement.

All face-to-face Scout meetings, activities and events must be suspended from tomorrow, Tuesday, 17 March 2020. This suspension applies to young people and adults, and will be until further notice.

As a result all section meetings and events for the foreseeable future are cancelled, however the Group are now meeting weekly online using video conferencing. Activities include fun, games, cooking, craft, badge work and showing off each other’s talents.

We hope everyone stays safe and well and follow the guidance around symptoms of Covid-19 and self-isolation where appropriate. There may be long periods where families are at home together. During this time you might wish to consider working towards Activities badges for your section. These can be found on and the Parent Portal of Online Scout Manager.

Whilst we are in challenging times and we should look to support others where we can (as per our Scouting values), if helping neighbours and friends, especially the elderly, please make sure that you do this in the safest possible way, and don't put anyone at further risk.

Please share any Scouting activities and badges that you do at home on our Facebook pages to encourage others and show them what you have been doing.

Take care of yourselves.

An HQ fit for the Future

3rd Epsom is a great Group with a strong family spirit and we want to keep all sections meeting on the same evening. This means kids get to know the leaders, leaders can job-share, sections work together and kids can move up to the next section on the same night of the week. But
- We’ve doubled our numbers since 2012!
- Now 112 kids Scouting, 145 by 2022...
- We have more adult leaders in the team
- We’ve adjusted meeting times
- We use the HQ & Forge & do activities outside too
We just need more space for our growing group. For more information please click here.

We have setup facebook pages online for each of the sections in the group to keep members updated with activities and arrangements.

Please click here to view the Facebook pages.

They are closed groups for current parents attending the sections (and Explorers can also access the Explorer page). If your child leaves, you will be removed from the group pages. The pages will be used to post information, reminders and photos when appropriate. Please observe the following rules:
Only administrators to post on the group please - however comments on photos/posts most welcome
Please do not share photos/videos from the pages on your own personal page
Please do not tag anyone in any of the photos or videos.
Thank you!
If you have any questions please do ask one of the leaders.
